Day 1-2 Maun to Okavango Delta
On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met and assisted with boarding in your scheduled light aircraft to the flagship Belmond Eagle Island Lodge in the Okavango Delta, a stylish sanctuary in the heart of the delta that brings timeless luxury to the Botswana wetlands.

Day 3-4 Okavango Delta to Moremi Wildlife Reserve
After a peaceful morning sleep-in or a last morning activity at Belmond Eagle Island Lodge followed by a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Belmond Khwai River Lodge where animal magic meets old-world indulgence. The inviting tented rooms at Belmond Khwai River Lodge feature panoramic private decks. They’re the perfect theatre from which to enjoy the drama of the wild as well as the perfect base for an adventure into the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. From heart racing morning game drives to mesmerising evening stargazing, you will feel closer to this captivating land. Wildlife can be spotted all year round, including giraffe, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs. Morning and afternoon game drives depart daily in open land cruisers. Get closer to the wildlife than ever before on a Khwai River walk with one of the camp experienced guides. Bird lovers can conceal themselves in the camp private hide which enjoys elevated views across the Khwai River and is the perfect spot to observe the region’s rich variety of birds, including malachite kingfishers and open-billed storks.
A cultural visit to the local Khwai village can be arranged. Accompany by your guide and a local villager, take a stroll around the small village and chat with the locals – get a feel for their culture and their way of life.
Star gazing is another activity offered at the camp. Be captivated by the treasures of the boundless night sky. Using a telescope, focus in on constellations that northern hemisphere visitors may never have seen before, such as the Southern Cross. You will also discover how Bushmen used the stars to locate the true south.
After a day spent in the savannah, unwind in the tranquil pool or share stories by the fire. For those wishing to enjoy further pampering, the lodge has a ‘Naturally Wild’ gym and spa facility. Day 5-6 Moremi Wildlife Reserve to Chobe National Park
After your usual early morning wake-up call with a cup of coffee and biscuits, head into the bush
hoping to see one more time a pack wild dogs and other predators before you leave for your next destination, in the Chobe National Park.
Here, where the largest elephant population in the world treads determinedly across the dusty ground and the African Fish eagle swoops down to the great river, uttering his charismatic call, you will find a new Botswana wilderness to explore. And not only is Chobe National Park famous for its huge herds of elephant, but also its buffalo as well as the associated predators such as large prides of lion that have learnt to hunt them. There are also numerous antelope and other plains game as well as vast pods of hippos wallowing in the shallows of the River Chobe.

Day 7 Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls
An early wake-up and coffee, tea starts your last safari with Belmond before being transferred to the lodge airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to Kasane Airport for onward transfer to the Victoria Falls Hotel situated in the Victoria Falls National Park, a world heritage site. Step back in time and appreciated the aura of by – gone days as you sup on the famous High Tea or take in the magnificent view of the Victoria Falls Bridge. The famous Victoria Falls are just a ten-minute walk away using the hotel’s private pathway.

Day 8 – 11 Victoria Falls to Zambia
After a leisurely breakfast followed by check out, you will be transferred to Livingston Airport to connect with your flight to Zambezi Grande in Zambia. On arrival at the Royal Airstrip, you will be welcomed and a 10mn road transfer will take you to the lodge.
Zambezi Grande is situated on a prime sector of the Zambezi River front, near the Lower Zambezi National Park, offering visitors an unforgettable personal retreat, with all the sumptuous indulgences a discerning guest would appreciate from the comfort of an opulent, 5-star sanctuary in the heart of Africa. Sundowner cruises are a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River and offer great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets.
Tiger fishing is another activity enjoyed by Zambezi Grand guests and does not require one to be a professional fisherman. Bird lovers are also rewarded during water activities as the riverbanks are also home to many bird species and flocks of birds skim the waterline, the wildlife viewing complimenting your fishing excursions. In between the daily activities spoil yourself with relaxing and nurturing body therapy designed to alleviate stress and sooth tired or tight muscles, leaving you feeling revitalised and refreshed.
Day 12 Departure
After your last morning activity followed by breakfast, it is time to bid farewell to the lodge team before being transferred to the Royal Zambezi Airstrip to connect with your direct flight to Livingstone Airport for onward private arrangements.
