Day 1: Cape Town
Cape Town has been voted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and for good reason. Offering picture perfect beaches, cosmopolitan and modern surroundings and panoramic views, this city is a must visit on any traveller’s itinerary. Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean, sandwiched between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Explore the captivating city of Cape Town’s rich historical attractions while also experiencing its breath-taking beauty.
On arrival in Cape Town you are met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Once you have checked into the hotel and enjoyed a refreshing welcome drink, freshen up and unwind before the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Cape Town

After Breakfast depart on a morning scheduled Half Day city tour including Table Mountain.
This is a great orientation tour of Cape Town. Highlights of this half day tour include a visit up Table Mountain on the cableway, where the varying flora and fauna will be explained; exploring the Malay Quarter – a historic picturesque area of the city with original Malay buildings and narrow streets. You tour some of the historic sights of the city centre and stroll through the Company Gardens. Time permitting you will also see the Castle of Good Hope, built in 1652 and now painstakingly restored, and enjoy a photographic opportunities of Table Mountain from Table Bay. (Please Note: The cable car ticket is not included as the mountain visit is weather permitting).
Afternoon Robben Island visit
Depart on a scheduled boat trip across Table Bay to Robben Island. On arrival guests will be met by their guide – an ex-political prisoner. You will be taken on a 45-minute bus ride with a guide providing commentary. Stop and visit the infamous Maximum-Security Prison as well as Murray’s Bay Harbour precinct attractions, such as the Muslim shrine, or kramat, and the Museum shop. For nearly 400 years, Robben Island, 12 kilometres from Cape Town, was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. It was here that rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers, social outcasts and the unwanted of society. During the apartheid years Robben Island became internationally known for its institutional brutality. The duty of those who ran the Island and its prison was to isolate opponents of apartheid and to crush their morale. Some freedom fighters spent more than a quarter of a century in prison for their beliefs.

Day 3: Cape Town

After Breakfast depart on a scheduled Full Day Cape Point
This full-day tour takes in the scenic highlights of the Cape Peninsula. Explore the warm sands of Clifton’s four secluded beaches and browse the sidewalk cafés and bars of trendy Camp’s Bay. The next stop is the spectacular coastal suburb of Hout Bay, a former fishing village with a long, sandy beach facing a bay framed by the mountains. If open, the tour will continue along the breath-taking Chapman’s Peak Drive before stopping near Simon’s Town. Just a little further we stop again to explore the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

We then head to Cape Point Reserve, where you can walk or take the funicular to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse, which boasts magnificent views over False Bay and the shoreline. Also, within the reserve is the fabled Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point of the African continent. The day ends at the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you are free to ramble along the wide paths, relax on the spreading lawns or even enjoy the spectacular aerial walkway through the treetop.
Day 4: Cape Town

After Breakfast depart on a scheduled Full Day Cape Winelands
A mere one hour’s drive from Cape Town lie the valleys and mountains which have become synonymous with some of the world’s finest wines. Today guests will enjoy a leisurely exploration of the historic towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek as well as wine tasting at local wine estates. A combination of the favourable effects of the two major ocean currents meeting off the Cape makes the climate in the area perfect for the acres of vineyard.

Back to Cape Town in the late afternoon and the rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 5 – 7: Cape Town Rovos Rail

Guests will complete the check out procedure before being transferred to Cape Town Station for Rovos Rail Cape Town to Pretoria.
Departure at 11h00 / Arrival at 12h00 in Pretoria.
Day 7: Pretoria
On arrival at the Rovos Rail Station at Capital Park in Pretoria, guests will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Once you have checked into the hotel enjoy a refreshing welcome drink.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city of Pretoria.

Pretoria City is full of tree-lined avenues and fascinating architecture. It’s unthinkable of visiting South Africa without spending some time in Pretoria, the administrative capital.

Day 8 – 11: Pretoria – Rovos Rail – Victoria Falls

Guests will complete the check-out procedure before being transferred to Rovos Rail Station for Rovos Rail Pretoria TO Victoria Falls.
This 3-night journey departs at 09h30 and arrive at 10h00 in Victoria Falls.
Day 11 – 12
Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the major waterfall on the Zambezi River in Africa. It is famous for being the largest waterfall in the world, in the wet season. The African people who live around the falls call it Mosi-oa-Tunya which means “smoke that thunders“.
Victoria Falls is a 3-in-1 tourist destination offering a stunning scenery, excellent safari tours and exhilarating adventure activities. They call Victoria Falls the ‘Adventure Capital of Africa’ for a good reason.
On arrival at Victoria Falls Station, Guests will be met by your private guide
who will transfer you to the hotel where you will be spending the next 2 nights. On the way you will be briefed about what you will do over the next 3 days.

In the afternoon Guests will be picked up from the hotel for the Zambezi Sunset Cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Cruise above the Victoria Falls and take in the dramatic colours of the sunset. Look out for pods of Hippos and if you are lucky wildlife coming down to drink at the water’s edge. Savour a refreshing drink and some of the delectable finger snacks provided. As the sun slips below the horizon you will head back to the hotel. (Breakfast and snacks Included)
Back to the hotel – Guests will have time to freshen up before Dinner. In the evening you will be picked up and taken to an ethnic restaurant for a traditional dinner in a Boma. Live traditional entertainment will be provided creating a memorable cultural experience.
The next morning after a leisurely breakfast it is time for a guided tour of the Falls: the “Smoke that thunders”. Your guide will tell you about the myth and history surrounding it. Stop at the “Big tree” a giant Baobab for photographs. Go on a scenic walk through the tropical rainforest that is there by virtue of the spray from the Falls.
After the tour guests will be driven back to the lodge where you will enjoy a Vulture culture lunch at the renowned Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant (Table D’hôtel) – own account
The afternoon is at leisure to explore the many activities that Victoria Falls has to offer such as Elephant Back Safari, walking with the lions, highwire activities including the flying fox, the zipline and the gorge swing … or just visit the African craft market to shop some souvenir gifts.

Day 13: Victoria Falls – Johannesburg
Today your luxury journey has come to its end. After breakfast guests will complete the check out formalities before being transferred to Victoria Falls Airport.
Depending on the time of your departure flight, you may be able to squeeze one last activity before being transferred to the airport.
