This Honeymoon or romantic safari journey begins in Cape Town affectionately known as the Mother City and combines three highlights of Southern Africa: four days sightseeing in Cape Town, voted One of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. Here you stay at a luxurious hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then you are off to Botswana for 6 nights on safari in the Okavango Delta where you will experience both land and water activities. After your safari experience, it is time to cool off on the banks of the Zambezi river and enjoy 2 nights relaxing nights in Zimbabwe’s beautiful at Victoria Falls. Spend your days lazing by the pool or sipping cocktails but, if the mood takes you, there is a huge range of adventure activities on offer such as white water rafting, canoeing on the upper Zambezi, elephant back safaris and much more.

Only a return road transfer in and out Cape Town airport has been arranged. This is to give you the freedom to decide whether you want to hire a rental car for a few days, we are available to assist. Or take a wide range of tours on offer.
Day 1: Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be welcome by our representative and transferred to Winchester Mansion Hotel where you will overnight for the next 4 nights of your journey.
The rest of the day is at leisure relaxing after your long flight or taking your first “bouffee de mer” by the paved oceanfront promenade of the hotel.
Winchester Mansion Hotel
Situated along the scenic Sea Point Promenade and facing the Atlantic Ocean, with the majestic backdrop of Table Mountain, Winchester Mansions in Cape Town is an iconic seafront hotel, that has maintained its original Cape Dutch architecture and is popular among local and international guests.
Have your meals at the hotel’s Harvey Restaurant or take a walk to Sea Point’s Main Road, home to a cornucopia of restaurants and a raft of buzzing bars, while top-notch shopping can be found in the glossy Adelphi Centre. For the most breath-taking view in town, paraglide down from Signal Hill.

Day 2 – 4: Cape Town
Free Days to Explore Cape Town and its surroundings
Optional day tours in and around Cape Town can easily be arranged at an additional cost or we can organize to have a rental car delivered to the hotel.
Half Day Cape Town City Tour including A trip up to Table Mountain in a gondola with a rotating floor which gives you a 360⁰ view of the entire city of Cape Town
Afternoon visit to Robben Island or to the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, filled with tranquillity and beautiful views
Full day Cape Point
Explore Clifton’s secluded beaches and browse the sidewalk cafés of trendy Camp’s Bay
Stop at Hout Bay, a former fishing village with a long, sandy beach facing magnificent mountains
Cruise along the breath-taking Chapman’s Peak Drive before stopping near Simon’s Town
visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach
Head to Cape Point Reserve, to walk to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse
Stop at the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point of the African continent
Full day Winelands visit to sample top class wines. Visit 2 or 3 Wine farms for wine tasting and enjoy
a combination of a wine and chocolates pairing or Biltong at the famous Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions.
Overnight at Winchester Mansion
Day 5 – 6: Cape Town – Johannesburg – Botswana
Today you are transferred back to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled flight to Maun in Botswana, via Johannesburg OR Flight directly to Maun depending of the day of the week (flight not included in this tour price but quoted separately).
On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist with your check in onto your air transfer to the Okavango Delta.
Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be welcome by the camp’s team and transferred to the camp.
Overnight at Gunn’s Camp
Overlooking the legendary Chief’s Island and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, Gunn’s Camp is one of the last few remaining luxury, vintage safari camps. Set under leafy palms and African Ebony trees, to blend naturally with its unique surroundings, eco-friendly Gunn’s Camp achieves a fine balance of comfort without isolating guests from the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Option 2: Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp
The camp lies in a private Delta concession on the western border of the Moremi wildlife reserve. The lodge has been beautifully hand crafted and designed so that its open-plan dining room, lounge, wildlife reference library, and expansive sundecks all offer unobstructed views over the endless floodplains of the Delta. Beautiful details such as burnished teak floors, huge wooden bowls full of chillies and a solitaire game made from local vegetable ivory pods add a signature style to Nxabega.
You have a choice of daily activities including meandering along the floodplains and channels by mokoro – an experience not to be missed. Or you can track big game on foot or open 4×4-safari vehicle. The main lodge has a sitting and dining area and there’s a plunge pool for cooling off during the warm days.
The Okavango Delta
The Okavango is an immense river that never meets the sea. Instead, its crystal-clear waters spread across the Kalahari Desert, forming Africa’s largest wetland wonder. The Delta is an abundant oasis amid the vast plains and pans of the desert that covers most of Southern Africa. Its waterways are a mesh of meandering and intercepting channels, creating a haven for Africa’s celebrated wildlife.
Day 7 – 8: Gunn’s Camp to Pom Pom Camp or Rra Dinare
Today you will be transferred back to the airstrip for a 10 minutes scenic flight to Pom Pom or Rra Dinare. On arrival at the airstrip you will be welcome by the camp’s team and transferred to the lodge
Overnight: Pom Pom Camp Or Rra Dinare, Okavango Delta
Pom Pom Camp
Known for its ‘soul’ and appeal to safari traditionalists, Pom Pom Camp is an eco-friendly camp located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and not only offers superb Okavango scenery but also consistent game viewing all year round. Rra Dinare is set in a private 272 km2 concession, adjacent to Moremi Game reserve on the south-eastern side of the Delta. The camp has only 9 Tents including a Family Tent and a guide Tent.
Day 9 – 10: Pom Pom Camp or Rra Dinare – Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Today you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your air transfer to Kasane Airport.
On arrival at the airport you will be welcome by our representative and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you will be spending the last 2 nights of your journey.

Day 11: Victoria Falls – Johannesburg
After a lazy breakfast, it is time to check out and bid farewell to Victoria Falls as your dream honeymoon has come to its end.
You will be transferred to Victoria Falls for your flight to Johannesburg.
